Michael Eschenbach,
Marine Engineer - 9 years
General Contractor - 30 years
Cabinet Maker - 5 years
I worked as a Marine Engineer after graduating engineering school in 1970. Working on freighters and passenger liners to see the world. In 1988, after working for a few years in construction I obtained my California General Contractors License. I built a cabinet shop and worked at that for 5 years, then morphed the company into construction which I successfully ran until 2004 at which time I moved to Florida. In Florida I worked as a designer for Sanderson Bay Fine Homes. In 2008, I moved to Guatemala and built an 11 room apartment with my brother. In 2010 I moved back to California and reactivated my contruction business building commercial and residencial projects until I retired in 2020. In 2021 I began purchasing a piece of property in Cerritos, BCS, Mexico and completed building our house in 2025. I've now decided to get back into the profession I have loved best of all of them, woodworking.
